Sir Richard Tihel Leighton, 10th Bt. was born on 13 February 1893.1 He was the son of Sir Bryan Baldwyn Mawdddwy Leighton, 9th Bt. and Margaret Frances Fletcher.2 He married Kathleen Irene Linda Lees, daughter of Major Albert Ernest Lees, on 5 January 1932.1 He died on 26 September 1957 at age 64.1
