Sir William Matthew Trevor Lawrence, 3rd Bt. was born on 17 September 1870.1 He was the son of Sir James John Trevor Lawrence, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Matthew.2 He married Bertha Iris Eyre Crabbe, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Eyre Macdonnell Stewart Crabbe, on 24 February 1908.1 He died on 4 January 1934 at age 63.1
