     Elizabeth Matthew was the daughter of John Matthew.¹ She married Sir James John Trevor Lawrence, 2nd Bt., son of Sir William Lawrence, 1st Bt. and Louisa Senior, on 6 October 1869.¹ She died on 18 March 1916.¹
     From 6 October 1869, her married name became Lawrence.

     Sir William Matthew Trevor Lawrence, 3rd Bt. was born on 17 September 1870.¹ He was the son of Sir James John Trevor Lawrence, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Matthew.² He married Bertha Iris Eyre Crabbe, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Eyre Macdonnell Stewart Crabbe, on 24 February 1908.¹ He died on 4 January 1934 at age 63.¹
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He graduated from Berlin University, Berlin, Germany^G, with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)¹ He was the Almoner at St. Bartholomew's Hospital, London, England^G.¹ He was awarded the Officer du Mérite Agricole.¹ He was awarded the Victoria Medal of Honour of the Royal Horticultural Society.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Lawrence, of Ealing Park, Middlesex [U.K., 1867] on 22 December 1913.¹ He was Secretary of the POW Info Bureau between 1914 and 1915.¹ He was with the Admiralty War Staff in 1915.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Surrey.¹
