Erastus Lathrop was born on 23 May 1772 at Windham, Connecticut, U.S.A.G.1 He was the son of Ebenezer Lathrop, Jr. and Deborah Lathrop.1 He married Judith Crafts, daughter of Griffin Crafts, in 1801 at Cherry Valley, Otsego County, New York, U.S.A.G.1 He died on 16 October 1830 at age 58 at Greenfield, Indiana, U.S.A.G.1
