     Sir James Hunter Blair of Dunskey, 7th Bt. was born on 7 May 1889.1 He was the son of Edward Hunter Blair of Dunskey, 6th Bt. and Cecilia Dora Farrer.2 He married, firstly, Jean Galloway McIntyre, daughter of Thomas Walker McIntyre of Sorn and Jeannie Paterson Galloway, on 15 May 1917.1 He married, secondly, Ethel Norah Beyers, daughter of Herbert Edward Beyers, on 15 July 1954.1 He died in 1985.1
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1911 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He graduated from Christ's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Seaforth Highlanders (SR.)1 He was District Officer, Forestry Commission between 1920 and 1928.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Hunter Blair, of Dunskey [G.B., 1786] on 11 April 1945.1

     Commander Gaspard Patrick Hunter Blair was born on 21 September 1895.1 He was the son of Edward Hunter Blair of Dunskey, 6th Bt. and Cecilia Dora Farrer.2 He married Sophie Koudacheff on 12 May 1929 at Aubourn Church, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.1,3 He died on 1 June 1941 at age 45, killed in action in H.M.S. Calcutta.1,4
     He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the Second World War, and was mentioned in despatches.1

     From 12 May 1929, her married name became Hunter Blair. From 18 July 1945, her married name became Lambert.1

     He was educated at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant (S) in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.1 He was educated at West of Scotland Agricultural College, ScotlandG.1
