Maria Kennedy was the daughter of Sir John Kennedy, 1st Bt. and Maria Beauman.2 She married John Tottenham Langrishe, son of Very Rev. James Langrishe and Mary Harriet Mitchell, on 10 August 1846.1 She died in 1898.1

Sir John Charles Kennedy, 3rd Bt. was born on 23 March 1856.1 He was the son of Sir Charles Edward Bayly Kennedy, 2nd Bt. and Augusta Maria Pery.2 He married Sydney Harriet Maude Higginson, daughter of Sir James Macaulay Higginson and Olivia Nichola Dobbs, on 11 November 1879.1 He died on 21 March 1923 at age 66.1
He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 3rd Battalion, Royal Dublin Fusiliers.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Kennedy, of Johnstown Kennedy, co. Dublin [U.K., 1836] on 4 December 1880.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Waterford in 1884.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Dublin.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Dublin.1
