Annie Elizabeth Benton was the daughter of Walter Benton.2 She married Sir Frederick John Jones, 1st Bt., son of Thomas Jones, in 1877.1 She died in 1893.1

Sir Walter Benton Jones, 2nd Bt. was born on 26 September 1880.2 He was the son of Sir Frederick John Jones, 1st Bt. and Annie Elizabeth Benton.2 He married Lily Marguerite Fawcett, daughter of James Dixon Fawcett and Eliza Martha Wightman, on 9 January 1907.2 He died on 5 December 1967 at age 87.2
He was educated at Repton School, Repton, Derbyshire, England.2 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1902 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.) by Sheffield University, Sheffield, Yorkshire, West Riding, EnglandG.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Jones, of Treeton, West Riding, co. York [U.K., 1919] on 23 May 1936.2 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1950 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He was president of the United Steel Companies.2
