     Isabel Ann Mappin was the daughter of Joseph Charles Mappin.2 She married Lt.-Cdr. Somerset James Somerset-Johnstone, son of Lt.-Gen. Montague Cholmeley Johnstone and Leonora Louisa Somerset, in 1887.1 She and Lt.-Cdr. Somerset James Somerset-Johnstone were divorced in 1900 at U.S.A.1 She died on 16 June 1934.1
     From 1887, her married name became Somerset-Johnstone.

     He was educated at Bedford School, Bedford, Bedfordshire, EnglandG.1 He was a Master Mariner.1 He gained the rank of, ieutenant in the Royal Naval Reserve.1 He fought in the First World War.1

     He gained the rank of Radio Officer in the Merchant Navy, during the Second World War.1
