     Marion Amelia Ward was born circa 1842 at Brighton, Sussex, England^G.¹ She married Alexander Walker MacTier, son of Anthony MacTier and Maria Binny, on 23 February 1867.^1,2 She died on 1 October 1887 at St. George, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.^1,2
     From 23 February 1867, her married name became MacTier.¹
