Sir George Cockburn of Langton, 10th Bt. was born on 22 April 1772.1 He was the son of Sir James Cockburn of Langton, 8th Bt. and Augusta Anne Ayscough.1 He married Mary Cockburn, daughter of Thomas Cockburn and Mary Aylward, on 28 November 1809.2 He died on 19 August 1853 at age 81 at Leamington, Warwickshire, England.1 He was buried at Kensal Green Cemetery, London, EnglandG.3
