     John Morgan was born on 18 February 1741/42.1 He was the son of Thomas Morgan and Jane Colchester.1 He married Louisa Burt, daughter of Charles Pym Burt, in 1788 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.1 He died on 27 June 1792 at age 50, without issue.2
     He lived at Tredegar, Monmouthshire, WalesG.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Monmouthshire.1

     John Morgan was the son of Sir Charles Morgan, 1st Bt. and Jane Morgan.1 He died on 12 April 1782, killed while serving under Lord Rodney.1
     He gained the rank of Midshipman in the Royal Navy.1

     Jane Morgan was the daughter of Sir Charles Morgan, 1st Bt. and Jane Morgan.1 She married, firstly, Captain Henry Ball.1 She married, secondly, Samuel Homfray, son of Francis Homfray, on 8 May 1793.1 She died on 22 December 1846.1
     Her married name became Ball.1 From 8 May 1793, her married name became Homfray.1
