Lady Anne Murray was the daughter of David Murray, 6th Viscount of Stormont and Anne Stewart.1 She died on 9 July 1818, unmarried.1

Hon. James Murray was born circa 1690.1 He was the son of David Murray, 5th Viscount of Stormont and Marjory Scott.1 He died in August 1770 at Avignon, FranceG, without issue.1
He was a practising Advocate in 1710.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dumfries-shire between 1711 and 1713.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Elgin between 1713 and 1715.1 In 1715 he joined the Jacobite Uprising.1 He was created 1st Viscount of Drumcairn, in the Shire of Fife [Scotland] on 2 February 1720/21, Jacobite.1 He was created 1st Lord of Hadykes, in the Shire of Dumfries [Scotland] on 2 February 1720/21, Jacobite.1 He was created 1st Earl of Dunbar, in the Shire of East Lothian [Scotland] on 2 February 1720/21, Jacobite.1

Hon. Amelia Murray was the daughter of David Murray, 5th Viscount of Stormont and Marjory Scott.1 A contract for the marriage of Hon. Amelia Murray and Sir Alexander Lindsay, 3rd Bt. was signed on 22 April 1720.1,2 She died on 8 February 1774 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.2

Sir Alexander Lindsay, 3rd Bt. was born on 11 May 1683.2 He was the son of Sir Alexander Lindsay, 2nd Bt. and Catherine Wardlaw.2 He was baptised on 17 May 1683 at Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland.2 A contract for the marriage of Sir Alexander Lindsay, 3rd Bt. and Hon. Amelia Murray was signed on 22 April 1720.1,2 He died on 6 May 1762 at age 78.2
He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Lindsay, of Evelick, co. Perth [S., 1666] after 1709.
