Sir Francis Morgan Bryant was born on 13 March 1859.2 He was the son of Thomas Bryant and Elizabeth (?)2 He was baptised on 10 April 1859 at Kirkley, Suffolk, England.2 He married Margaret May Edmunds, daughter of W. H. Edmunds, in 1898 at Marylebone, London, England.3,2 He died on 30 August 1938 at age 79 at The Pavilion, Hampton Court Palace, East Molesey, Surrey, EnglandG.2
He was appointed Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.)1 He was Secretary to the Comptroller and Treasuer at Marlborough House in 1881.2 He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) in 1901.2 He was Secretary of the King's Private Secretary's Office between 1910 and 1931.2 He was awarded the Imperial Service Order (I.S.O.) in 1916.1 He was Registrar of the Royal Victorian Order between 1916 and 1931.2 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1918.1 He was appointed Knight in 1920.2 He was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.) in 1922.2 He held the office of Sergeant-at-Arms in Ordinary to HM King George V between 1922 and 1931.1,2 He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur in 1927.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1931.1
