     Robert Pakenham was the son of Thomas Pakenham, 1st Baron Longford and Elizabeth Cuffe, 1st Countess of Longford.2 He died in 1775, unmarried.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 33rd Foot.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Longford between 1768 and 1775.1
