     Ferquard Mac Taggart, 1st Earl of Ross died circa 1251.1
     He was also known as Ferquhard 'mac an t-sagairt'.1 Circa 1214 he helped King Alexander II of Scotland crush a rebellion in Moray and Ross, and brought the king the heads of the rebel leaders.1 He was appointed Knight on 15 June 1215.1 He was created 1st Earl of Ross [Scotland] circa 24 December 1225.1

     Sarah FitzHugh is the daughter of Robert FitzHugh. She married William Comyn, Earl of Buchan, son of Richard Comyn, Lord of Tynedale and Hextilda (?).
     Her married name became Comyn.1

     Sir David Graham of Old Montrose was the son of Sir David Graham of Dundaff and Annabelle of Strathearn.2
     He acquired lands of Loveth, Inverness-shire.3 On 5 June 1292 he supported John Balliol for the Crown of Scotland.3 On 3 August 1292 he swore fealty to King Edward I of England.3 From 1296 to 1297 he was a prisoner of King Edward I of England.3
