Thomas Maunsell was the son of Colonel Thomas Maunsell and Anne Eaton.2 He died in 1711, unmarried.1
He gained the rank of Ensign in the Colonel Richard Coote's Regiment of Foot.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Limerick.1 He lived at Annaghrosty, Ireland.1 He was admitted to Middle Temple in 1682 entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Limerick in 1697.1
