Hugh Nicholson Goodbody was born on 19 July 1917.1 He was the son of General Ernest Goodbody and Hilda Evelyn Barclay Pim.2,1 He married, firstly, Gillian Evelyn Ilys Staveley, daughter of Brigadier Robert Staveley, on 15 October 1952.1 He married, secondly, Eileen Olive Rosemary Owen, daughter of Henry George Owen, on 8 September 1971.1 He died on 6 April 2011 at age 93.3 He was buried at Mt. Jerome Cemetery, Harold's Cross, County Dublin, IrelandG.3
