Otto Francis Gason was born on 28 September 1869.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Wills Crofts Gason and Agnes Julia Rich.2 He married Ethel Gordon Steele Hart, daughter of Edward Aubrey Hart, on 19 April 1899.1 He died on 10 December 1949 at age 80, without issue.1
