     He was educated at Bishop Foy's School, Waterford, County Waterford, IrelandG.1

     Thomas Jermyn, 2nd Baron Jermyn was born in 1633.2 He was the son of Thomas Jermyn and Rebecca Rodway.3 He married Mary Merry, daughter of Henry Merry.4 He died on 1 April 1703.5
     He held the office of Governor of Jersey.4 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Jermyn, of St. Edmundsbury, co. Suffolk [E., 1643] in 1683.4
