Henry Conrwallis Pelham was born on 31 August 1868.1 He was the son of Charles Anderson Pelham Anderson-Pelham, 3rd Earl of Yarborough and Lady Victoria Alexandrina Hare.1 He married Edith Katharine Roberts, daughter of Colonel William Arthur Roberts, on 16 July 1892.1 He died on 5 December 1924 at age 56.1
     He was given the name of Henry Cornwallis Anderson-Pelham at birth.1 On 26 October 1905 his name was legally changed to Henry Cornwallis Pelham by Royal Licence.1
