Alexander Ewing of Balloch was born circa 1692.1 He was the son of Alexander Ewing of Balloch and Isobel Ewing.2 He married Jean Allan on 6 June 1719.1

Robert Ewing was born on 20 May 1724.1 He was the son of Alexander Ewing of Balloch and Jean Allan.2 He married Isobel Buchanan of the Cameron on 1 February 1752.1 He died on 6 May 1794 at age 69.1
He inherited from his father the lands of Ledrish and Ledrishbeg, and parts of the estate of Balloch.1

William Ewing was born on 10 February 1772.1 He was the son of Robert Ewing and Isobel Buchanan of the Cameron.2 He married Susan Orr, daughter of John Orr and Agnes Anderson, on 7 April 1805.1 He died on 11 June 1853 at age 81.2
