Marie Eleanor Domvile was born on 28 January 1898.2 She was the daughter of Compton Charles Domvile and Eleanor Maria Isabel Richardson.1,2 She married, firstly, Evelyn Wentworth Hope Johnstone, son of Captain Percy Alexander Hope Johnstone and Evelyn Ann Hope Johnstone, on 1 May 1916.1 She and Evelyn Wentworth Hope Johnstone were divorced in 1925.1 She married, secondly, Sir Thomas Ainsworth, 2nd Bt., son of Sir John Stirling Ainsworth, 1st Bt. and Margaret Catherine Macredie, on 10 September 1925.3 She died on 30 December 1969 at age 71.3

Major Percy Wentworth Hope Johnstone was born on 2 January 1909.1 He was the son of Evelyn Wentworth Hope Johnstone and Eileen Briscoe.1 He married, firstly, Phyllis Athena MacDonell, daughter of Edgar Errol Napier MacDonell, on 7 July 1932.1 He and Phyllis Athena MacDonell were divorced in 1939.1 He married, secondly, Margaret Jane Hunter-Arundell, daughter of Herbert William Francis Hunter-Arundell and Elizabeth Agnes Paterson, on 26 July 1940.1 He died on 5 April 1983 at age 74.1

Patrick Andrew Wentworth Hope Johnstone, 11th Earl of Annandale and Hartfell was born on 19 April 1941.2 He is the son of Major Percy Wentworth Hope Johnstone and Margaret Jane Hunter-Arundell.1 He married Susan Josephine Ross, daughter of Colonel Walter John Macdonald Ross, on 23 August 1969.2
