     Alfred William Hickman was born on 10 March 1851 at Bliston, Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, England.1 He was the son of Sir Alfred Hickman, 1st Bt. and Lucy Owen Smith.2 He married Mary Whitby Hickin, daughter of William Hickin, on 30 April 1879.1 He died on 21 August 1902 at age 51.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Staffordshire.1 He lived at Goldthorn Hill, Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, England.1

     Mary Whitby Hickin was born in 1854.2 She was the daughter of William Hickin.3 She married Alfred William Hickman, son of Sir Alfred Hickman, 1st Bt. and Lucy Owen Smith, on 30 April 1879.1 She died on 19 October 1946.1
     From 30 April 1879, her married name became Hickman.

     Sir Alfred Edward Howard Hickman, 2nd Bt. was born on 8 May 1885.2 He was the son of Alfred William Hickman and Mary Whitby Hickin.2 He married, firstly, Lilian Brenda Mander, daughter of Benjamin Howard Mander and Lilian Nelson, on 16 January 1919.2 He and Lilian Brenda Mander were divorced in 1940.2 He married, secondly, Nancy Beryl Morse-Evans, daughter of Captain Trevor George Morse-Evans, on 23 April 1940.2,3 He died on 11 March 1947 at age 61.2
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Hickman, of Wightwick, Tettenhall, co. Staffs [U.K., 1903] on 11 March 1910.1 He fought in the First World War, in France, and was wounded.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the 4th/7th Dragoon Guards.2 He gained the rank of Major in the Shropshire Yeomanry (TA.)2

     William Christie Hickman was born on 23 March 1888.1 He was the son of Alfred William Hickman and Mary Whitby Hickin.2 He married Elizabeth Mumford, daughter of Frederick A. Mumford, on 28 April 1912.1 He died on 1 July 1916 at age 28, killed in action.3
     He graduated from Caius College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He fought in the First World War.3 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Royal Field Artillery (SR.)1

     Lt.-Col. Arthur Hickman was born on 20 June 1891.1 He was the son of Alfred William Hickman and Mary Whitby Hickin.2 He married Dorothy Gwendolen Rudge, daughter of Edward Charles Rudge and Florence Fox, on 8 September 1914.1 He died on 28 September 1959 at age 68.1
     He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the TAR Worcestershire Yeomanry.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Pioneer Corps.1 He fought in the Second World War.1

     Dorothy Gwendolen Rudge was the daughter of Edward Charles Rudge and Florence Fox.2,3 She married Lt.-Col. Arthur Hickman, son of Alfred William Hickman and Mary Whitby Hickin, on 8 September 1914.1 She died on 18 August 1957.1
     She was awarded the Royal Red Cross (R.R.C.)1 From 8 September 1914, her married name became Hickman.
