Charles Blount, 1st Earl of Devonshire 2
     Charles Blount, 1st Earl of Devonshire was born in 1563.3 He was the son of James Blount, 6th Baron Mountjoy and Catherine Leigh.3 He married Lady Penelope Devereux, daughter of Walter Devereux, 1st Earl of Essex and Lettice Knollys, on 20 December 1605.1,3 He died on 3 April 1606 at Savoy House, the Strand, London, England.3
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Beeralston in 1586.3 He was appointed Knight in 1586.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Beeralston in 1593.3 He succeeded as the 8th Baron Mountjoy in 1594. He held the office of Lord Deputy [Ireland] between 1600 and 1603.3 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland from 1603 to 1604.3 He gained the title of 1st Earl of Devonshire on 21 July 1603. He held the office of Keeper of Postmouth Castle on 8 May 1604.3

Margaret Garneys1

     Margaret Garneys was the daughter of John Garneys.1 She married, firstly, Walter Devereux, 1st Viscount Hereford, son of John Devereux, 2nd Lord Ferrers (of Chartley) and Cicely Bourchier, after 1534.1 She married, secondly, William Willoughby, 1st Baron Willoughby of Parham, son of Sir Christopher Willoughby and Elizabeth Tailboys, after 1558.1 She died in 1599.1
     From after 1534, her married name became Devereux.1 After her marriage, Margaret Garneys was styled as Baroness Willoughby of Parham after 1558. From after 1558, her married name became Willoughby.1

     Sir Edward Devereux, 1st Bt. was born after 1558. He was the son of Walter Devereux, 1st Viscount Hereford and Margaret Garneys.2 He married Catherine Arden, daughter of Edward Arden and Mary Throckmorton.1 He died on 22 September 1622.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Tamworth from 1588 to 1589.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Warwickshire from 1593 to 1594.1 He was created 1st Baronet Devereux, of Castle Bromwich, co. Warwick [England] on 25 November 1611.1

Robert Arden1

     Robert Arden was the son of Edward Arden and Mary Throckmorton.1 He married Elizabeth Corbet, daughter of Sir Reginald Corbet and Alice Gratewood.1 He died on 27 February 1635.1
     He lived at Park Hall, Curdworth, Warwickshire, EnglandG.2 He regained Park Hall, and by degree, most of his father's lands.1

     Sir Walter Devereux, 5th Viscount Hereford was born in 1578.1 He was the son of Sir Edward Devereux, 1st Bt. and Catherine Arden.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Baspole, daughter of Robert Baspole.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Knightley, daughter of Thomas Knightley and Elizabeth Shukburgh, before 1615.1 He died before 5 January 1657/58.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Stafford in 1614.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Marlborough from 1621 to 1622.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Worcester from 1624 to 1625.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Worcestershire from 1624 to 1625.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Worcestershire from 1624 to 1625.1 He succeeded as the 5th Viscount Hereford [E., 1550] on 14 September 1646.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Devereux, of Castle Bromwich, co.
