Captain Francis Hugh Beaufort was the son of Major Francis Beaufort.2 He married Charlotte Gwendoline Frances Hope, daughter of Charles Hope and Leonora Louisa Isabella Orde, on 31 December 1913.1 He died on 15 May 1915 at Festubert, Pas-de-Calais, FranceG, killed in action.3
He gained the rank of Captain in the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry.1 He fought in the First World War.1
