     William Gordon was born on 17 August 1800.1 He was the son of David Gordon and Agnes Hyslop.2 He married Agnes Marion Hyslop, daughter of John Hyslop of Lochend, on 17 August 1825.1 He died on 27 January 1858 at age 57.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived at Culvennan, ScotlandG.1

     Maj.-Gen. Lochinvar Alexander Charles Gordon was born on 26 May 1864.1 He was the son of David Alexander Gordon and Jane Lawrie Bell.2 He married Maria Withers, daughter of J. T. Withers, on 30 April 1895.1 He died on 7 August 1927 at age 63.1
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.)1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was awarded the Order of the White Eagle of Serbia 3rd Class with swords.1 He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Artillery.1
