     Her married name became Gordon.

     William Gordon was born on 17 August 1800.¹ He was the son of David Gordon and Agnes Hyslop.² He married Agnes Marion Hyslop, daughter of John Hyslop of Lochend, on 17 August 1825.¹ He died on 27 January 1858 at age 57.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Culvennan, Scotland^G.¹

     Maj.-Gen. Lochinvar Alexander Charles Gordon was born on 26 May 1864.¹ He was the son of David Alexander Gordon and Jane Lawrie Bell.² He married Maria Withers, daughter of J. T. Withers, on 30 April 1895.¹ He died on 7 August 1927 at age 63.¹
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was awarded the Order of the White Eagle of Serbia 3rd Class with swords.¹ He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Artillery.¹
