Sir Thomas Vere Sherlock Gooch, 10th Bt. was born on 10 June 1881.1 He was the son of Sir Alfred Sherlock Gooch, 9th Bt. and Alice Elizabeth Williams.2 He married Florence Meta Draper, daughter of James Finucane Draper, on 10 July 1902.1 He died on 7 July 1946 at age 65.1
He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Gooch, of Benacre Hall, Suffolk [G.B., 1746] on 24 February 1899.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Suffolk.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Suffolk in 1911.1
