     Catherine Lydia Mackenzie James was the daughter of Captain John James.2 She married Captain Thomas Sherlock Gooch, son of Vice-Admiral Thomas Lewis Gooch and Anne Europa Gardner, on 10 April 1861.1 She died on 28 December 1914.1
     From 10 April 1861, her married name became Gooch.

     Major John Sherlock Gooch was born on 13 December 1865.1 He was the son of Captain Thomas Sherlock Gooch and Catherine Lydia Mackenzie James.2 He married, firstly, Ella Cecilia Piercy Drury, daughter of Ward Chipman Drury, on 27 December 1894.1 He married, secondly, Anne Dorothea Harrison, daughter of Commander Matthew James Harrison and Lucy Caroline Wedgwood, on 26 June 1912.1 He died on 26 August 1929 at age 63.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Garrison Artillery.1

     Anne Georgina Sherlock Gooch was the daughter of Captain Thomas Sherlock Gooch and Catherine Lydia Mackenzie James.2 She married, firstly, Philip Edward Scholfield in 1886.1 She married, secondly, Francis Edward James, son of Reverend Henry James, on 5 March 1903.1 She died on 24 November 1911.1
     From 1886, her married name became Scholfield. From 5 March 1903, her married name became James.1

     Marianne Anna Maria Gooch was the daughter of Sir Thomas Sherlock Gooch, 5th Bt. and Marianne Whittaker.3 She married Andrew Lawson, son of Reverend Marmaduke Lawson and Barbara Isabella Wilkinson, on 1 February 1823.1 She died on 5 November 1855.1
     From 1 February 1823, her married name became Lawson.

     Andrew Lawson was born on 3 May 1800.2 He was the son of Reverend Marmaduke Lawson and Barbara Isabella Wilkinson.2 He married Marianne Anna Maria Gooch, daughter of Sir Thomas Sherlock Gooch, 5th Bt. and Marianne Whittaker, on 1 February 1823.1 He died on 28 February 1853 at age 52.2
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Knaresborough.2 He lived at Aldborgh Manor, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1
