John de Neville, 5th/6th Lord Latimer (of Corby) was born in 1382.1 He was the son of John de Neville, 3rd Lord Neville and Elizabeth Latimer, Baroness Latimer (of Corby).1 He married Matilda de Clifford, daughter of Thomas de Clifford, 6th Lord Clifford and Elizabeth de Ros, before 24 July 1406.1 He and Matilda de Clifford were divorced before 1414 due to his impotence ('causa frigiditatis ejusdem.1') He died on 10 December 1430, without issue.1
He succeeded as the 6th Lord Latimer, of Corby [E., 1290] on 5 November 1395.2 He succeeded as the 5th Lord Latimer, of Corby [E., 1299] on 5 November 1395.2 He settled most of his lands on his half-brother, Ralph to the exclusion of his sister Elizabeth's son, even though many of these lands came to him through their mother.2
