Alexander Heun Goschen was born on 7 April 1844.1 He was the son of Wilhelm Heinrich Goschen and Henrietta Ohmann.2 He married Laura Sophia Spurgeon, daughter of Charles Whaley Spurgeon, in October 1869.1 He died on 9 July 1928 at age 84.1

Laura Sophia Spurgeon was the daughter of Charles Whaley Spurgeon.2 She married Alexander Heun Goschen, son of Wilhelm Heinrich Goschen and Henrietta Ohmann, in October 1869.1 She died on 13 December 1912.1

Sir William Edward Goschen, 1st Bt. was born on 18 July 1847.1 He was the son of Wilhelm Heinrich Goschen and Henrietta Ohmann.2 He married Harriet Hosta Clarke, daughter of Darius Clarke, on 24 November 1874.1 He died on 20 May 1924 at age 76.2
He was with HM Diplomatic Service between 1869 and 1914.1 He held the office of Minister Plenipotentiary to Russia in 1897.1 He held the office of Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to Serbia in 1898.1 He held the office of Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to Denmark in 1900.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1904.1 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Royal Victorian Order (G.C.V.O.) in 1905.1 He held the office of Ambassador to Austro-Hungary in 1905.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1905.1 He held the office of Ambassador to Germany between 1908 and 1914.1 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.) in 1909.1 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.) in 1911.1 He was created 1st Baronet Goschen, of Beacon Lodge, Southampton [U.K.] on 17 January 1916.1 He was Gentleman Usher of the Sword of State between 1919 and 1924.1

Henrietta Barbara Goschen was the daughter of Wilhelm Heinrich Goschen and Henrietta Ohmann.2 She married Reverend Charles Lyndhurst Vaughan, son of Rt. Hon. Sir John Vaughan and Louise Rouse-Boughton, on 13 January 1877.1 She died on 19 July 1906, without issue.1
