Sir Kildare Dixon Borrowes, 5th Bt. was born circa 1721.1 He was the son of Sir Walter Borrowes, 4th Bt. and Mary Pottinger.1 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Short, daughter of John Short and Elizabeth Borrowes, in February 1759.1 He married, secondly, Jane Higginson, daughter of Joseph Higginson and Bridget Mottley, on 10 May 1769.1 He died on 22 June 1790.1 He was buried at Gilltown, County Kildare, IrelandG.1
He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Borrowes, of Grangemellon, co. Kildare [I., 1646] on 9 June 1741.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Kildare [Ireland] between 1745 and 1776.1 He held the office of Sheriff of County Kildare in 1751.1 He lived at Colverstown, County Kildare, IrelandG.1

Isabel de Brienne was the daughter of Louis de Brienne and Agnes, Vicomtesse de Beaumont.1 She married John de Vesci, Lord of Alnwick, son of William de Vesci and Agnes de Ferrers, in 1279/80.1 She died before 1 November 1334, without issue.1
