Sir Christopher John Nixon, 1st Bt. was born posthumously on 29 June 1849.2 He is the son of Christopher William Nixon and Mary Anne Hackett.2 He married Mary Agnes Blake, daughter of Dominick Edward Blake, on 6 November 1871.2 He died on 19 July 1914 at age 65.2

Catherine Elizabeth Nixon was the daughter of Sir Christopher John Nixon, 1st Bt. and Mary Agnes Blake.2 She married Charles Austin Thomas Robert ffrench, 6th Baron ffrench of Castle ffrench, son of Martin Joseph ffrench, 5th Baron ffrench of Castle ffrench and Catherine Mary Anne O'Shaughnessy, on 8 June 1951.1 She died on 25 July 1960, without issue.2
After her marriage, Catherine Elizabeth Nixon was styled as Baroness ffrench of Castle ffrench on 8 June 1951. From 8 June 1951, her married name became ffrench.1

Hon. John Martin Valentine Joseph ffrench was born on 19 July 1872.1 He was the son of Martin Joseph ffrench, 5th Baron ffrench of Castle ffrench and Catherine Mary Anne O'Shaughnessy.2 He married Sophia Brambila, daughter of Giovanni Brambila, on 27 March 1915.1 He died on 7 May 1946 at age 73.1
He gained the rank of Captain in the 7th (Service) Battalion, Leinster Regiment.1 He was awarded the Knight, Sovereign Military Order of Malta in 1932.2
