Sir George Augustus Duncombe, 1st and last Baronet was born on 25 May 1848.1 He was the son of Admiral Hon. Arthur Duncombe and Delia Field.2 He married Hester Allardice, daughter of Colonel John McDermid Allardice and Catherine Mary Pycroft, on 15 July 1890.1 He died on 22 November 1933 at age 85, without surviving issue.1
He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the 3rd Battalion, East Yorkshire Regiment.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of the East Riding, Yorkshire.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the East Riding, Yorkshire.1 He was created 1st Baronet Duncombe [U.K.] on 16 May 1919.1

Colonel John McDermid Allardice was born on 25 February 1835 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.2 He was the son of William Patrick Allardice and Anna Maria Macdiarmid.2 He married Catherine Mary Pycroft, daughter of Thomas Pycroft, on 4 January 1866 at Madras, India.2 He died on 17 December 1905 at age 70.2

Arthur Duncombe and Delia Field, on 21 February 1871.1 He died in September 1875 at age 35.2
