Vice-Admiral Temple West was born in 1714.2 He was the son of Reverend Richard West and Mary Temple.1,2 He married Frances Balchen, daughter of Admiral Sir John Balchen.2 He died on 9 August 1757.2 He was buried at Westminster Abbey, Westminster, London, England.2
He gained the rank of Captain in 1742 in the Royal Navy.2 On 13 December 1745 he was court-martialled and dismissed from the service.2 On 12 May 1746 he was reinstated by Order in Council.2 He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral in 1756.2 He fought in the Battle of Minorca in 1756, as second in command.2 He gained the rank of Vice-Admiral on 17 November 1756.2

Hon. Lucy Anne Stanley was the daughter of John Thomas Stanley, 1st Baron Stanley of Alderley and Hon. Maria Josepha Holroyd.2 She married Lieutenant Marcus Theodore Hare, son of Francis Hare and Georgiana Shipley, on 24 September 1833.2 She died on 15 March 1869.2

Vice-Admiral Bertie Cornelius Cator was born on 26 September 1787 at Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire, England.1 He was the son of Joseph Cator and Diana Bertie.1 He married Sophia Atkinson, daughter of Michael Atkinson and Sophia Mackworth, on 8 February 1816 at Temple Sowerby, Cumbria, England.1 He died on 23 July 1864 at age 76.1
