Robert Farquharson, 1st of Finzean was the son of Donald Farquharson, 1st of Monaltrie and Janet Ogilvy.2 He married Katherine Mackintosh, daughter of Lachlan 'Mor' Mackintosh, 16th of Mackintosh, 17th Chief of Clan Chattan and Agnes Mackenzie.1 He died in 1632.1
