Catherine Hinton1

     Catherine Hinton was the daughter of Thomas Hinton.2 She married William Gallwey, son of Henry Gallwey and Margaret Sheehy, in December 1803.1 She died on 29 September 1863.1
     From December 1803, her married name became Gallwey.

     Henry Gallwey was born in 1807.1 He was the son of William Gallwey and Catherine Hinton.2 He married Maria Walsh, daughter of Edmond Walsh, on 27 May 1844.1 He died on 18 November 1896.1
     He was Freeman of the City of Waterford in 1846.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Waterford.1 He was founder of Henry Gallwey & Company.3 He lived at Tramore, County Waterford, IrelandG.1

     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Cork.1 He lived at Glenburne, Glanmore, County Cork, IrelandG.1

     William Joseph Gallwey was born on 2 June 1847.1 He was the son of Henry Gallwey and Maria Walsh.2 He married Frances Kate Trelawner Davies, daughter of Reverend Edward William Lewis Davies, on 25 January 1883.1 He died on 30 July 1926 at age 79.1
     He was educated at Clongowes Wood College, S.J., Clane, County Kildare, IrelandG.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Waterford.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Waterford.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Waterford in 1905.1 He lived at Rockfield, Tramore, County Waterford, IrelandG.1
