St. Leger Richard Glyn was born on 3 October 1825.1 He was the son of George Carr Glyn, 1st Baron Wolverton and Marianne Grenfell.1,2 He married Florence Elizabeth Williams, daughter of James Wilmot Williams, on 5 June 1855.1 He died on 16 April 1873 at age 47, with a daughter (died young):.1

     Florence Elizabeth Williams was the daughter of James Wilmot Williams. She married Hon. St. Leger Richard Glyn, son of George Carr Glyn, 1st Baron Wolverton and Marianne Grenfell, on 5 June 1855.1 She died on 14 September 1887.1
     Her married name became Glyn.

     Wyndham Raymond Portal, 1st and last Viscount Portal was born on 9 April 1885.2 He was the son of Sir William Wyndham Portal, 2nd Bt. and Florence Elizabeth Mary Glyn. He married Lady Louise Rosemary Kathleen Virginia Cairns, daughter of Arthur William Cairns, 2nd Earl Cairns and Olivia Elizabeth Berens, on 20 April 1909.2 He died on 6 May 1949 at age 64, without issue, when his peerages expired.2

     Lady Louise Rosemary Kathleen Virginia Cairns was born on 10 March 1889.1 She was the daughter of Arthur William Cairns, 2nd Earl Cairns and Olivia Elizabeth Berens.2 She married Wyndham Raymond Portal, 1st and last Viscount Portal, son of Sir William Wyndham Portal, 2nd Bt. and Florence Elizabeth Mary Glyn, on 20 April 1909.2 She died on 17 May 1962 at age 73, without issue.1
     Lady Louise Rosemary Kathleen Virginia Cairns usually went by her middle name of Rosemary.2 From 20 April 1909, her married name became Portal.2 She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1919.1 She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hampshire.1 After her marriage, Lady Louise Rosemary Kathleen Virginia Cairns was styled as Baroness Portal on 26 January 1935.      Arthur William Cairns, 2nd Earl Cairns was born on 21 December 1861 at London, EnglandG.1,2 He was the son of Hugh MacCalmont Cairns, 1st Earl Cairns and Mary Harriet MacNeile.3 He married Olivia Elizabeth Berens, daughter of Alexander Augustus Berens and Louisa Winifred Stewart, on 19 December 1887 at St. Mary's Church, Bryanston Square, Marylebone, London, EnglandG.2 He died on 14 January 1890 at age 28 at 18 Queen Street, Mayfair, London, EnglandG, from pneumonia.2 He was buried at Bournemouth, Hampshire, EnglandG.2 He died intestate and his estate was administered in April 1890, at £5,135.2

     Olivia Elizabeth Berens was the daughter of Alexander Augustus Berens and Louisa Winifred Stewart.2,3 She married, firstly, Arthur William Cairns, 2nd Earl Cairns, son of Hugh MacCalmont Cairns, 1st Earl Cairns and Mary Harriet MacNeile, on 19 December 1887 at St. Mary's Church, Bryanston Square, Marylebone, London, EnglandG.3 She married, secondly, Roger Cyril Hans Sloane-Stanley on 1 June 1899 at Trinity Church, Brompton, London, EnglandG.1,3 She died on 20 June 1951.1
     After her marriage, Olivia Elizabeth Berens was styled as Countess Cairns on 19 December 1887. From 19 December 1887, her married name became Cairns. Her married name became Sloane-Stanley. She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1920.1
