     James Stevens Elton was born in 1811.1 He was the son of Henry Elton and Anne Wedlake.2 He married Elizabeth Anne Wade, daughter of Charles Wade, in 1846.1 He died in 1849, without issue.1

     William Warry Elton was born on 27 November 1813.1 He was the son of Henry Elton and Anne Wedlake.2 He married Mary Notley, daughter of James Thomas Benedictus Notley, on 7 April 1859.1 He died on 4 January 1906 at age 92.1
     He lived at Avishays, Somerset, EnglandG.1

Lt.-Col. William Marwood-Elton1

     Lt.-Col. William Marwood-Elton was born on 31 March 1865.1 He was the son of William Warry Elton and Mary Notley.2 He married Juliet Marriott, daughter of Robert Spelman Marriott, in August 1909.1 He died on 14 October 1931 at age 66.1
     He was given the name of William Elton at birth.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.1 On 11 June 1910 his name was legally changed to William Marwood-Elton by Royal Licence.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the 3rd Battalion, Welsh Regiment.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Somerset.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Somerset.1 He lived at Widworthy Court, Honiton, Devon, EnglandG.1

     G/Capt. Nigel William David Marwood-Elton was born on 22 August 1911.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. William Marwood-Elton and Juliet Marriott.2 He married Daphne Richards, daughter of Gordon Richards, on 22 December 1952.1 He died in October 1995 at age 84 at Bodmin, Cornwall, England.3
     He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice and became a POW.1 He gained the rank of Group Captain in the Royal Air Force.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (D.F.C.)1
