     Captain John Hitchen lived at Watcombe, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He was in the Honourable East India Company Service.¹

     Mary Anne Richards was the daughter of Theophilus Richards.¹ She married Reverend Francis Pelly, son of Henry Hinde Pelly and Sally Hitchen, on 16 February 1813.¹ She died on 5 November 1857.¹
     From 16 February 1813, her married name became Pelly.¹

Butcher.^1,2 He and Joan Dawson Rowlands, Baroness Bakewell were divorced.³ He married Joan Dawson Rowlands, Baroness Bakewell.³ He married Melissa Dundas, daughter of Ian Hope Dundas of Dundas and Pamela Dorman, on 3 March 1975.¹
