     Sir William Edmonstone, 4th of Duntreath was the son of Sir Archibald Edmonstone, 3rd of Duntreath and Janet Shaw.2,3 He married Sibylla Baillie, daughter of William Baillie and Marion Home.3 He died on 9 September 1513 at Flodden Field, Northumberland, EnglandG, killed in action.1
     He fought in the Battle of Flodden on 9 September 1513.1
