     Charles Durie of Craigluscar was born on 19 April 1815.1 He was the son of Robert Durie of Craigluscar and Joanna Anne Taylor.2 He married Christine Ronaldson, daughter of James Smith Ronaldson, on 2 August 1836.1 He died in 1845 at Malaga, SpainG.1
     He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)1

Elizabeth Providence Durie1

     Elizabeth Providence Durie was born on 21 February 1813.1,2 She was the daughter of Robert Durie of Craigluscar and Joanna Anne Taylor.3 She was baptised on 27 February 1814 at Lamlash, Isle of Arran, Scotland.2 She married Archibald Finnie Allan on 29 October 1833 at St. Cuthberts, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1,2 She died in 1848.2
     From 29 October 1833, her married name became Allen.

     From 25 November 1869, her married name became MacFarlane.2

     Sir William Lawson, 1st Bt. was born on 8 May 1796.1 He was the son of John Wright and Elizabeth Lawson.1 He married Clarinda Catherine Lawson, daughter of John Lawson, on 20 October 1825.1 He died on 22 June 1865 at age 69.1
     He was given the name of William Wright at birth.1 He was created 1st Baronet Lawson, of Brough Hall, Catterick, co. Yorks [U.K.] on 8 September 1841.1
