Rt. Hon. Sir William Domvile was born in 1609.1 He was the son of Gilbert Domvile and Margaret Jones.2 He married Bridget Lake, daughter of Sir Thomas Lake and Mary Ryder.1 He died in July 1689.1
He held the office of Principal Secretary of State between 1616 and 1618, to King James I in England.1 He held the office of Attorney-General [Ireland] between 1660 and 1686.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)1 He was Speaker of the General Convention of Ireland at Restoration.1 He lived at Leighlinstown, County Dublin, IrelandG.1
