Captain Robert Warren Johnson1

     Captain Robert Warren Johnson was born on 10 May 1868.2 He was the son of Vice-Admiral John Ormsby Johnson and Edith Renira Twyford.3 He married Grace Isobel Paley, daughter of Algernon Herbert Paley, on 11 July 1906.2 He died on 22 September 1914 at age 46, killed in action, on board H.M.S. Cressy when it was torpedoed.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the First World War.1

     Margaret Anne Bower was the daughter of Captain Cyril Whichelo Bower.2 She married, firstly, Commander Peter John Patrick Leckie before 1961.1 She married, secondly, G/Capt. Peter Warren Johnson, son of Captain Robert Warren Johnson and Grace Isobel Paley, on 12 October 1961.1 She died in 1987.1
     From before 1961, her married name became Leckie.1 Her married name became Johnson.

     Lt.-Col. George William Frederic Leicester was born on 24 April 1895.2 He was the son of Major William Frederic Leicester and Mary Lilian Young.1,2 He married Katharine Anne Chenevix Trench, daughter of Colonel Lawrence Chenevix Trench and Winifred Ross Tootal, on 19 January 1932.1 He died on 25 February 1944 at age 48.1
     He fought in the First World War in 1914, where he was wounded and became a POW.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Cheshire Regiment.1

     Major Hon. Robert Edward Udny Hermon-Hodge was born on 11 April 1882.2 He was the son of Robert Trotter Hermon-Hodge, 1st Baron Wyfold and Frances Caroline Hermon.2 He married Sybil Rika Hare, daughter of Captain Percy Richard Hare and Matilda Gertrude Tiarks, on 27 July 1934.2 He died on 2 May 1937 at age 55, without issue.2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Oxfordshire Light Infantry.2 He fought in the First World War.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1919.2 He gained the rank of Major in the Oxfordshire Yeomanry.1

     Robert Trotter Hermon-Hodge, 1st Baron Wyfold was born on 23 September 1851.2 He was the son of George William Hodge and Sarah Eliza Green.2 He married Frances Caroline Hermon, daughter of Edward Hermon, on 16 May 1877.2 He died on 3 June 1937 at age 85.1
     He was educated at Clifton College, Clifton, Bristol, EnglandG.2 He graduated from Worcester College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1873 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He graduated from Worcester College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for North-East Lancashire between 1886 and 1892.2 He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the Oxfordshire Yeomanry.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for South Oxfordshire between 1895 and 1906.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Oxfordshire.2 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Oxfordshire.2 He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the Oxfordshire Yeomanry.1 He was created 1st Baronet Hodge [U.K.] on 6 August 1902.2 On 3 January 1903 his name was legally changed to Robert Trotter Hermon-Hodge by Royal Licence.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Croydon between 1909 and 1910.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for South Oxfordshire between 1917 and 1918.1 He was created 1st Baron Wyfold, of Accrington, co. Palatine of Lancaster [U.K.] on 17 May 1919.1

     Frances Caroline Hermon was the daughter of Edward Hermon.2 She married Robert Trotter Hermon-Hodge, 1st Baron Wyfold, son of George William Hodge and Sarah Eliza Green, on 16 May 1877.2 She died on 5 February 1929.2
     Her married name became Hodge. From 3 January 1903, her married name became Hermon-Hodge.
