     Maj.-Gen. Reginald Curtis was born on 1 February 1829.1 He was the son of Charles Berwick Curtis and Henrietta Pearson.2 He married Marianne Emma Salmond, daughter of James Salmond and Emma Isabella Coke, on 10 January 1863.1 He died in 1894.1
     He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Artillery.1

     Marianne Emma Salmond was the daughter of James Salmond and Emma Isabella Coke.2 She married Maj.-Gen. Reginald Curtis, son of Charles Berwick Curtis and Henrietta Pearson, on 10 January 1863.1 She died on 26 December 1874.1
     Her married name became Curtis.

     Fanny Gubbins is the daughter of Lt.-Col. unknown Gubbins.1 She married, firstly, Vice-Admiral James John Stopford, son of Admiral Hon. Sir Robert Stopford and Mary Fanshawe, on 21 August 1862.1 She married, secondly, Reverend T. G. Luzard on 23 April 1873.1
     From 21 August 1862, her married name became Stopford. From 23 April 1873, her married name became Luzard.

     Reverend William Frederick Douglas was born circa 1814.2 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Sir Howard Douglas, 3rd Bt. and Anne Dundas.1,3 He married Christiana Fanshawe Stopford, daughter of Admiral Hon. Sir Robert Stopford and Mary Fanshawe, on 30 April 1846.1 He married Louisa Harriet Blackwell, daughter of Captain G. Eden Blackwell, on 16 September 1862.4 He died on 26 September 1874 at Marylebone, London, England.4,2
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)4 He was Rector at Scrayingham, Yorkshire, England.4

     Maj.-Gen. Sir Howard Douglas, 3rd Bt. was born on 23 January 1776.2 He was the son of Admiral Sir Charles Douglas, 1st Bt. and Sarah Wood.3 He married Anne Dundas, daughter of James Dundas, in July 1799 at England.3 He died on 9 November 1861 at age 85.2
     He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, London, England.2 He was commissioned in 1794 with the rank of 2nd Lieutenant, in the service of the Royal Artillery.2 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Douglas, of Carr, co. Perth [G.B., 1777] in May 1809.4 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 15th Foot.4 He fought in the Peninsular Wars.4 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1815.2 He held the office of Governor of New Brunswick between 1823 and 1829.2,4 He held the office of High Commissioner of the Ionian Islands between 1835 and 1840.2,4 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)4 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.)4 He was appointed K.C.S.4 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Liverpool between 1842 and 1847.2 He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.)4 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.)4

     From 21 September 1841, her married name became Russell. From 7 December 1853, her married name became Forester.
