Major Thomas William Forde was born on 11 February 1899.1 He was the son of Major William George Forde and Sylvia Dorothea Stewart.2 He died on 20 December 1949 at age 50, unmarried.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He retired from the military in 1928, with the rank of Major, late of the Coldstream Guards.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Down in 1934.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He lived at Seaforde, County Down, IrelandG.1
