     Susan Meriel Chenevix Trench was born on 8 September 1925.¹ She is the daughter of Brigadier Ralph Chenevix Trench and Meriel Edith Jelf.¹ She married Oscar Patrick Wood, son of Sydney Herbert Wood, on 8 July 1950.²
     From 8 July 1950, her married name became Wood.²

     Major Alfred Saward Chenevix Trench was born on 10 December 1887.¹ He was the son of Colonel Charles Chenevix Trench and Emily Mary Lefroy.¹ He married, firstly, Helen Winifred Fowler, daughter of George Fowler, on 3 February 1920.¹ He married, secondly, Sylvia Mary Crawford Caffin, daughter of Francis Crawford Caffin and Mary Stuart Jowitt, on 26 April 1949.¹ He died on 3 November 1963 at age 75.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He graduated from McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada^G, with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Engineers.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹

     Harriet O'Brien was the daughter of Edward O'Brien and Mary Carrick.² She married Sir Joseph Wallis Hoare, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Edward Hoare, 2nd Bt. and Clotilda Wallis, on 17 April 1800.² She died on 1 May 1851.²
     From 17 April 1800, her married name became Hoare.²

     Helen Winifred Fowler was the daughter of George Fowler.¹ She married Major Alfred Saward Chenevix Trench, son of Colonel Charles Chenevix Trench and Emily Mary Lefroy, on 3 February 1920.¹ She died on 29 October 1945.¹
     From 3 February 1920, her married name became Chenevix Trench.¹

     Anne O'Brien was born in 1720 at Charleville, County Cork, Ireland.² She was the daughter of Lord James O'Brien and Mary Jephson.³ She married Most Rev. Michael Cox, son of Sir Richard Cox, 1st Bt. and Mary Bourne, on 23 March 1744.¹ She died on 19 January 1745 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.¹
     Her married name became Cox.

     Most Rev. Michael Cox was born on 2 November 1691 at Charleville, County Cork, Ireland.¹ He was the son of Sir Richard Cox, 1st Bt. and Mary Bourne.¹ He married Anne O'Brien, daughter of Lord James O'Brien and Mary Jephson, on 23 March 1744.² He died on 28 May 1779 at age 87 at Castletown, County Laois, Ireland.¹
     He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)² He held the office of Archbishop of Cashel.³ He lived between 1767 and 1771 at Castletown, County Kilkenny, Ireland^G, built for him by the Sardinian architect Davis Ducart.³

     Henrietta O'Brien was the daughter of Lord James O'Brien and Mary Jephson.¹ She married, firstly, Terence O'Loughlen.² She married, secondly, Sir William Vigors Burdett, 2nd Bt., son of Captain Sir Thomas Burdett, 1st Bt. and Martha Vigors, on 5 October 1769.¹ She died on 17 November 1797.¹
     Her married name became O'Loughlen. From 5 October 1769, her married name became Burdett.¹
