Paul Ayshford Methuen, 4th Baron Methuen of Corsham was born on 29 September 1886.2 He was the son of Field Marshal Paul Sanford Methuen, 3rd Baron Methuen of Corsham and Mary Ethel Ayshford Sanford.2 He married Eleanor Hennessy, daughter of William John Hennessy, on 6 July 1915.2 He died on 7 January 1974 at age 87, without issue.2
