     He held the office of High Sheriff of County Sligo in 1699.2

     Henry Gore-Booth was born on 11 April 1809.1 He was the son of Sir Robert Newcomen Gore-Booth, 3rd Bt. and Hannah Irwin.1 He married Isabella Smith, daughter of James Smith, on 8 May 1834.1 He died on 25 July 1881 at age 72.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Scots Fusilier Guards.1
