     Sherlock Brasier-Creagh was born on 9 June 1874.1 He was the son of George Washington Brasier-Creagh and Averina Sherlock.2 He died on 16 October 1960 at age 86, unmarried.1
     He gained the rank of Private in the 132nd Company (Irish Horse), 29th Battalion, Imperial Yeomanry.3 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.3

     Averina Purden Bevan Brasier-Creagh was born in 1855.2 She was the daughter of George Washington Brasier-Creagh and Averina Sherlock.3 She married William Daniel Humphreys, son of William Humphreys and Mary Hickman Clarke, on 27 June 1878.1 She died on 1 January 1940.1
     From 27 June 1878, her married name became Humphreys.1

     He lived at Broomfield House, Midleton, County Cork, IrelandG.1

     From 11 October 1890, her married name became Oliver.
