Reverend John Byers was baptised on 5 June 1830.1 He was the son of Samuel Byers and Susan Maclean.2 He married Margaret Morrow, daughter of Andrew Morrow, in 1852.1 He died in 1853, at sea near New York.1

Samuel Byers was born on 3 October 1838.1 He was the son of Samuel Byers and Susan Maclean.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Mandale, daughter of Isaac Mandale and Martha Bell, on 16 January 1868.1 He married, secondly, Jane Halliwell Dempster, daughter of Robert Dempster, on 3 June 1899.1 He died on 11 March 1922 at age 83.1
He was Land Commissioner.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Armagh.1 He lived at Mowhan House, Mowhan, County Armagh, IrelandG.1

She was in the Auxiliary Territorial Service during the Second World War.1 She was awarded the Knight, Order of Leopold II of Belgium.1 She was awarded the Croix de Guerre in 1946 Belgian, avec palme.1 She retired from the military in 1955, with the rank of Major, late of the Women's Royal Army Corps.1 From 2 March 1955, her married name became Aggleton.
