     Lt.-Col. Hon. Henry Venables-Vernon was born in 1796.¹ He was the son of Henry Venables-Vernon, 3rd Lord Vernon, Baron of Kinderton and Alice Lucy Whitefoord.¹ He married Eliza Grace Coke, daughter of Edward Coke and Grace Colhoun, on 29 August 1822.¹ He died on 12 December 1845.¹
     He was given the name of Henry Sedley at birth.¹ After 18 June 1813 his name was legally changed to Henry Venables-Vernon.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Grenadier Guards.¹

     Eliza Grace Coke was the daughter of Edward Coke and Grace Colhoun.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Hon. Henry Venables-Vernon, son of Henry Venables-Vernon, 3rd Lord Vernon, Baron of Kinderton and Alice Lucy Whitefoord, on 29 August 1822.¹
     From 29 August 1822, her married name became Venables-Vernon.

     unknown daughter Venables-Vernon was the daughter of Lieutenant Hon. Edward Henry Venables-Vernon and Louisa Sophia Charlotte de Joux.¹ She died, unmarried.¹

John Venables-Vernon was born on 8 March 1798.² He was the son of Henry Venables-Vernon, 3rd Lord Vernon, Baron of Kinderton and Alice Lucy Whitefoord.^1,2 He married, firstly, Frances Barbara Duncombe, daughter of Thomas Duncombe and Emma Hinchcliffe, on 24 November 1830.³ He married, secondly, Caroline Paget, daughter of General Hon. Sir Edward Paget and Lady Harriet Legge, on 15 December 1853.¹ He died on 11 December 1875 at age 77.²
     He was given the name of John Sedley at birth.² After 18 June 1813 his name was legally changed to John Venables-Vernon.² He was Rector at Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, England^G.² He was the Rector at Nuthall, Nottinghamshire, England^G.¹

     Frances Barbara Duncombe was the daughter of Thomas Duncombe and Emma Hinchcliffe.^1,2 She married Reverend Hon. John Venables-Vernon, son of Henry Venables-Vernon, 3rd Lord Vernon, Baron of Kinderton and Alice Lucy Whitefoord, on 24 November 1830.¹ She died on 7 December 1848.²
     Her married name became Venables-Vernon.

     Thomas Duncombe was born in 1769.¹ He was the son of Charles Slingsby Duncombe and Isabel Soulby.² He married Emma Hinchcliffe, daughter of Rt. Rev. John Hinchcliffe and Elizabeth Crewe, in 1795.¹ He died on 7 December 1847.¹
     He lived at Copgrove, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Frederick Venables-Vernon was born on 8 October 1834.¹ He was the son of Reverend Hon. John Venables-Vernon and Frances Barbara Duncombe.¹ He died on 20 March 1835.¹

     Caroline Paget was the daughter of General Hon. Sir Edward Paget and Lady Harriet Legge.¹ She married Reverend Hon. John Venables-Vernon, son of Henry Venables-Vernon, 3rd Lord Vernon, Baron of Kinderton and Alice Lucy Whitefoord, on 15 December 1853.¹ She died on 17 July 1894, without issue.¹
     Her married name became Venables-Vernon.

     Francis Lawrance William Venables-Vernon, 9th Lord Vernon, Baron of Kinderton was born on 6 November 1889.¹ He was the son of George William Henry Venables-Vernon, 7th Lord Vernon, Baron of Kinderton and Frances Margaret Lawrance.¹ He married Violet Miriam Nightingale Clay, daughter of Colonel Charles Herbert Clay and Violet Harriet Nightingale, on 9 February 1915.¹ He died on 18 March 1963 at age 73.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He fought in the First World War, in the North Sea and Mediterranean.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Lord Vernon, Baron of Kinderton, co. Chester [G.B., 1762] on 10 November 1915.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Derbyshire.¹

     Lieutenant Hon. Edward Henry Venables-Vernon was born on 5 July 1823 at Somershall, Derbyshire, England^G.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Henry Venables-Vernon and Eliza Grace Coke.² He married Louisa Sophia Charlotte de Joux, daughter of Reverend Jean Gedeon Rene de Joux and Anne Selina Macartney Johnson, on 21 January 1851 at St. Brelade, Jersey, Channel Islands^G.¹ He died on 7 January 1856 at age 32 at China^G, killed in action.¹
     He was also known as Edward Henry Sedley.² He was Lieutenant Royal Navy.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy. He fought in the China Campaign in 1856.
